Propylene Glycol Methylether Acetate (PMA) are colorless transparent flammable volatile liquid. The relative density is 0.9234 (20/20℃). Melting point -95℃ (below this temperature becomes vitreous). Boiling point 121℃. Refractive index 1.4036, vapor pressure (20℃) 1070Pa, viscosity (20℃) 1.9mPa·s, molar heat of vaporization 32.64kJ, mol, flash point (open cup) 36℃, miscible with water.

Propylene Glycol Methylether Acetate (PMA) are low toxicity high-grade solvents in industry in whose molecules which have ether bond, carbonyl group which can be formed a structure of ester, as well as alkyl.In such a molecule, there is a polar part and a non-polar which the two functional groups restrain and repel one another while they individually perform their natural functions, thus having a certain dissolution with either a polar substance or a non-polar substance.

As a solvent; Dispersant or diluent used in coating, ink, printing and dyeing, pesticide, cellulose, acrylate and other industries.
It can also be used as fuel antifreeze agent, cleaning agent, extraction agent, non-ferrous metal beneficiation agent, etc.
It can also be used as raw material for organic synthesis.
