Lanthanum Oxide

Lanthanum oxide, with the chemical formula La2O3, La2o3 CAS number 1312-81-8. It appears as a white solid with no distinct odor. The basic structure of lanthanum oxide consists of two lanthanum atoms bonded to three oxygen atoms. This compound is insoluble in water. Lanthanum oxide is considered to be relatively safe for use, with no significant hazards reported. However, it is recommended to handle it with care and avoid inhalation or ingestion. In case of contact with skin or eyes, immediate rinsing with water is advised. Lanthanum oxide is not known to emit any toxic fumes or pose a threat to the environment.
