Steam-Hydrocarbon Primary Reformer Catalyst
The primary steam-reforming catalyst is a nickel-based catalyst. It typically consists of active nickel (Ni) nanoparticles dispersed onto a structurally robust ceramic support base, most commonly alpha-alumina (α-Al₂O₃) or calcium aluminate. This catalyst facilitates the endothermic conversion of light hydrocarbons (such as methane) and steam into synthesis gas.
The primary reformer catalyst is suitable for the system of ammonia, methanol, hydrogen plant using natural gas and coke oven gas.
The primary reformer catalyst is suitable for the hydrogen plant using catalytic dry gas, coking dry gas.
The primary steam-reforming catalyst is suitable for methanol synthesis and ammonia plant using oil field gas, refinery gas, naphtha.
The Primary Reformer Catalyst is used for the first conversion plant with natural gas or methane-rich gas to produce ammonia, methanol, hydrogen. The principle is that natural gas reacts with steam to produce hydrogen,carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide. They are new type of energy-saving primary reforming catalysts.

During transport and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, and overturning, and strictly shielded from chemical contamination; rolling or impact during handling is strictly prohibited. When stored outdoors, the drums should be placed on sleepers and covered with tarpaulins for rain protection; packaging in bulk bags (FIBCs) is also available upon customer request.
