Pre-Reformer Catalyst

The pre-reforming catalyst is suitable for the process of producing methane-rich gas via the steam pre-reforming of hydrocarbon feedstocks—such as light oil, naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), light hydrocarbons, and hydrocarbon-containing dry gas. The resulting gas can be further utilized to produce hydrogen, synthesis gas for ammonia or methanol production, or town gas.

High-content nickel is stably dispersed on a porous support, offering excellent low-temperature activity and stability.
The catalyst is available in either oxidized or reduced form; the oxidized form requires in-situ reduction and activation, whereas the reduced form can be used immediately upon loading.
It accommodates single or mixed hydrocarbon feedstocks, and catalyst performance remains unaffected by feedstock switching or adjustments to feed ratios.
It exhibits excellent resilience against process fluctuations and offers high operational flexibility, allowing for integration into the system under cold-start conditions.

During transport and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, and overturning, and strictly shielded from chemical contamination; rolling or impact during handling is strictly prohibited. When stored outdoors, the drums should be placed on sleepers and covered with tarpaulins for rain protection; packaging in bulk bags (FIBCs) is also available upon customer request.
